does it actually look like me?
That's what forty of them are for — same face, none picked to flatter it more than the rest. If it only worked as one good shot, this page would show you one.
can people tell it's AI?
Sometimes. In blind tests, AI portraits pass as real photos about 62% of the time. The ones that give it away are over-smoothed skin and a smile that's clearly been asked for, which is why we don't do either.
is this trying too hard?
It's you in different light, not a costume. Nothing in the set says 'photoshoot' — that's kind of the point of doing forty instead of one.
what happens to my photos?
They go to the model that makes the pictures and nowhere else. Nothing is trained on them, by us or by the provider.
