We do not store your picture. It never leaves this device: the cut-out runs on your own machine and there is no endpoint here that accepts an image. Open your browser's network panel and check — what you will see going out is a page view and the model being downloaded, and nothing else. Your photograph is not among it.

Take the photograph you already have, cut yourself out of the room you were standing in, and put yourself on a clean backdrop. It runs inside this browser — there is no upload, because there is nowhere here to upload to.
Anything with your face in it. A phone photo is fine.
The cut-out is a machine's guess. Rub out paints away a piece it kept by mistake; bring back restores a piece it took — an ear, a strand of hair, the top of a shoulder.
Drag the corners of the frame on the picture. The frame changes, the photograph never stretches — 1:1 is what LinkedIn keeps, 4:5 is a CV photo, 16:9 is a banner.
Off by default. A cut-out with no shadow reads as pasted, but we do not know where the light in your photograph came from — so the only honest shadow is wide and faint, which says "there is a floor" rather than inventing a lamp.
Off. A selfie is the picture you have been looking at all day, and flipping it to what the camera saw makes your own face look wrong.

A new backdrop behind an old photograph is still an old photograph: the light on your face is the light of the room you were in, and that is the part a recruiter reads. For $24 we make forty new ones — six backdrops, four lighting setups, three crops — from a few photos you already have. No shoot, no studio, minutes.
